Listed in the US, our client is a global leader in the field of home furnishings. As part of their recent strategy business developments and continued expansion plans, they are looking to hire a high calibre Business Analyst to join their Finance team.
Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will assume major responsibilities in:
- Maintaining and improving QAD systems.
- Contributing to the accuracy, completeness and timely production of reports.
- Participating in internal process improvement projects and initiatives.
- Ensuring the operational effectiveness of QAD and Hyperion report production.
- Ensuring the accuracy of systems processes and controls documentation, and the ongoing maintenance of these documents.
- Liaising with all relevant parties, across finance, operation and IT.
- Process improvement and re-engineering.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should possess at least 3 years' practical finance and accounting experience in manufacturing industry. This role will require strong ERP systems knowledge including data analysis, GL mapping maintenance and financial reporting processes, etc. This is a highly visible role requiring a highly commercial mind and excellent communication skill. Accounting qualification will be a plus, but not necessary.
