Finance & Accounting Director
Jakarta Raya
Responsibilities:
-
Reporting to the BOD, take full responsibility for all financial activities including accounting and costing, financial and management reporting, financing, investing, tax, treasury, pricing, planning and budgeting, financial analysis, M&A support, etc.

As a key member of the senior executive team, participate in the development and implementation of the corporate strategic plan and initiatives
-
Develop and implement a financial strategy supporting the corporate objectives involving dynamic growth and global expansion
-
Enhance the finance organisation/function including the development and implementation of finance best practices, internal control policies and procedures and management information systems (ERP or enterprise solution)

Develop performance measures to evaluate/analyse the efficiency and performance of the business divisions and manufacturing operations; provide timely and relevant management information to facilitate senior managements proactive decision making

Provide financial advice and counsel to the BOD, General Managers or Division heads. Offer operational insight into the business, thus allowing the executive team to better understand and manage the business

Develop, implement and ensure the completion of the corporate budgetary planning and control process
-
Ensure compliance with internal and external financial reporting and control requirements

Provide leadership to the finance function; recruit, train, motivate and retain finance staff in headquarters as well as local and overseas operation

Present a clear, concise analysis and accurate summarization of the business financial results, including revenue and profit versus plan and prior years, and relevant return on sales/net assets and working capital measurements

Analyze business risks and opportunities, and make recommendations as they affect the financial results of the business units and the various worldwide operations

Provide financial advice and business support to sales and marketing, and the business units during major contract negotiations. This will include a wide variety of financial aspects, including commercial financing alternatives, pricing and profitability analysis

Interface with the financial controllers/finance managers in Singapore, China as well as overseas within the Company to ensure that all financial reporting and accounting standards are continually met

Participate in the required due diligence of acquisitions and joint ventures; provide business and financial advice throughout the process

On ad-hoc basis, provide sound financial analysis for a variety of special projects
Requirements:

Knowledge: Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred; knowledge of general and cost accounting; knowledge of computers and experience in computer conversions

Experience: A minimum of four years accounting experience; experience in budget development and preparation of financial statements

Skills/Aptitudes: Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines; excellent accounting and math skills.

This position requires the ability to interact with all types of people. Must be able to get along with co-workers, customers, vendors, and visitors to the facility.

This position requires the ability to respond politely to all individuals and work well as a team player.

Working conditions: Position not substantially exposed to adverse weather conditions; ability to work flexible hours in addition to normal business hours.
