Senior Application Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Application Support Engineer in our Jakarta Offshore Division, you will be part of our Engineering staff, supporting Kana enterprise applications that are deployed to Kanas clients all over the world. This will involve you in all aspects of the development and deployment life cycle; you will also have the opportunity to lead and mentor other software engineers in the application support team.

Requirements:
Essential Criteria:
To be considered for this role you will need: -
A Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or an equivalent third level qualification in another technical field or similar relevant industry experience.

5+ years of experience in Application Support
-
3+ years of enterprise Java development.
-
2+ years of experience in working with MS SQL Server and Oracle database.
-
2+ years of experience in working with Linux, Unix and Windows Server 2008
-
Good communication skills (English & Indonesia)
Desirable Criteria:
In addition it would be advantageous if you have one or more of the following:
-
Experience of leading and mentoring other developers.
-
Experience of full software life cycle.
-
Extensive knowledge & practical experience of HTML, CSS &Javascript.
-
Experience of using SVN (for source control, branching & merging and build automation).
-
Knowledge of performance analysis and tuning of web applications
-
Familiarity or experience working with Software Testing Automation tools, such as Selenium.

Additional Information
Travel: Some travel might be required. (5%)
Location: This position will be based in KANAs office in Jakarta, Indonesia.
