PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk (GEMS) (www.goldenenergymines.com) is the owner and operator of 3 producing coal projects in Indonesia, namely Borneo Indobara (“BIB”), Kuansing Inti Makmur (“KIM”) and Trisula Kencana Sakti (“TKS”). The 3 projects are comprised of 8 coal concessions that span an area totaling approximately 36.000 hectares in South and Central Kalimantan and Sumatra.
One of our subsidiaries in Coal Mining is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates to fill the following position:
1. Port Branch Manager
Responsibilities:
• Collect and update any information related to Customs regulations and processes
• Manage the team of 8 Customs Brokers (Import & Export), with the assistance of the Customs Brokers Coordinator
• Receive complete documents from PIB/PEB Department
• Dispatch the jobs to the staff under his responsibility (import & export)
• Approve cash advances to the staff in charge of the job
• Monitor the process of clearance until release of the shipment
• Control the costs and the settlements of the advances of the operation staff
• Close the cash advances
• Liaise with the Finance department staff in Tanjung Priok to ensure preparation of weekly summary reports to Finance
• Reports every week to head office for approval of the expenses by the 2 Business Units Managers (Sea Import and Sea Export) and final review of financial report with Treasury Manager before replenishment of funds
• Supervise the trucking coordinator, in charge of all trucking operations (import/export, LCL/FCL/Breakbulk)
• Intervene in case of issue with Customs Department
• Update head office in case of any new customs regulation or practice
• Line of reporting: Reports to GM Operations
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years experience
• Background in freight forwarding company or customs broker (international or large national company)
• Experience in running Port Operations
• Able to maintain good relationship with Syahbandar, Adpel, Comdev matters related to shipping
• Good knowledge of Customs regulations
• Good contacts within Customs Department
• English Language
2. Senior Project Manager
Responsibilities:
• Accountable to lead, execute, and manage project management plans to achieve business target
• Develop budget forecasting and develop strategies to reduce cost
• Control actual project cost against budget.
• Develop project report
• To promote and maintain a safe workplace in order to ensure no incidents occur.
Requirements:
• Have at least Bachelor degree in Engineering
• Age: 32 & up
• Must have a minimum of 10+ years of strong operational experience: ideally has worked in a senior management role for 5+ years.
• Experience working as a factory / operation manager medium to large size is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis
• Skills should include organizational development, personnel (100+ people) management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning.
• Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
• Flexible and able to multi-task; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems.
• Strong commitment to safety
3. Purchasing Manager
Responsibilities:
• As Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for the supply of direct/indirect materials, leading major cost-reduction initiatives to maximize our competitive advantage. You will aim to become the preferred customer to our vendors and be able to access to break-through technologies and products
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
• 10 years experience in the purchasing in mining Industries
• Experience in dealing and selecting leading vendors, both domestically and internationally
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Good managerial and negotiation skills
• You are a strategic and innovative thinker
• Internal relationship skills and an ability to work as part of a vibrant, innovative team
4. Coal & Hauling Supervisor
Responsibilities:
• Mengawasi aktivitas tambang dengan memahami peta perencanaan yang berkaitan dengan Coal expose, coal digging, dan coal loading.
• Melakukan pengawasan detail terhadap operasional di batubara (coal), termasuk kualitas, kuantitas, dan sump area.
• Bertanggung jawab untuk menciptakan kondisi dan tindakan kerja yang aman.
• Memonitor stock SOP sesuai stock ROM koordinasi dengan department port.
• Melakukan cummissioning / rec cummisioning armada hauling bersama pihak SHE.
• Mengawasi aktivitas hauling hingga ke stockpile
• Berkoordinasi dengan pengawas armada hauling mengenai kesiapan jumlah armada setiap shift dan memastikan pemisahan armada jika akan melakukan kegiatan coal getting 2 produk atau lebih.
• Menterjemahkan sasaran-sasaran yang telah ditetapkan oleh kepala seksi kedalam tujuan dan sasaran yang akan dicapai oleh subseksinya.
• Menetapkan sasaran-sasaran tahunan yang akan dicapai oleh bawahan dan menyusun rencana kerja untuk mencapai sasaran tersebut.
• Merancang dan menerapkan pemantauan kinerja bawahan secara rutin dan memberikan tuntutan yang tepat.
Requirements:
• Minimal Sarjana di bidang Geologi/mining/engineering
• KMinimal 3-5 tahun pengalaman di bidang pertambangan dan 1-2 tahun sebagai coal dan hauling supervisor
• Mengerti gambar rencana/peta
• Mampu membuat anggaran biaya, menguasai situasi lapangan
• Menguasai bahasa inggris lisan dan tulisan.
• Mampu mengoperasikan word, excel, power point, visio, notebook, infocus dan internet.
